Agricultural propane
American River Gas delivers propane to farms, ranches, orchards and rural properties across the foothills, and sets the tanks and runs the lines to get it where you need it. Our drivers are used to gravel roads, gates and long driveways.

Propane on the farm and ranch
Rural parcels in the foothills are mostly beyond the reach of natural gas lines, so propane often does the heavy work. Tell us what you are running and where, and we will size the tank and plan delivery around it.
- Heating homes, shops, barns and outbuildings
- Water heaters for the house and outbuildings
- Portable cylinders for equipment and tools

Rural access
Our delivery hose is 120 feet long, and the truck has to be able to reach it. On a large property, a tank placed near a drivable surface makes every delivery easier. Let the office know about gates, gate codes, livestock and seasonal road conditions.
Tanks, lines and leak checks
We set above-ground tanks, run underground piping from the tank to each building, install regulators, and pressure check the system. Whenever service is interrupted, a new appliance is added or the system is modified, a leak test is required before gas is turned back on.

Delivery programs
Keep Full schedules deliveries automatically from the weather and your use, which helps when you have more on your mind than a tank gauge. Or you can call us when the gauge reads about 30%.
