Keep Full, or order when you need it
It is important to us that you get your propane the way you prefer. Most homes do well on Keep Full automatic delivery, and you can change how you order at any time by calling the office.
- Keep Full: our route drivers fill your tank automatically. We set the timing from outdoor temperatures and your past use, so you do not have to watch the gauge.
- Order it yourself: read the gauge and call us when it shows about 30%. That gives us time to reach you on your area's route day, usually within a week.

How route delivery works
Our trucks run a set part of the delivery area on each day of the week, so the fastest way to get propane is to order before you are low. Call the office and we will tell you which day we are in your area. Special arrangements can be made in an emergency.
The delivery hose on our trucks is 120 feet long. Every time the hose has to wrap around a fence, vehicle or shed it uses up some of that length, so a clear path from the driveway to the tank matters.
Help us reach your tank
Deliveries and tank maintenance go smoothly when the driver can get to the tank safely.
- Keep objects off the tank and out of the path to it.
- Do not tie pets to the tank, and keep dogs away on delivery day.
- Keep driveways and paths clear of obstacles, and of snow in winter.
- Trim trees and brush so the truck can get in and turn around.

Leased or customer-owned tanks
We deliver to tanks we lease to you and to tanks you own. If you are moving to the foothills or switching propane companies, tell us what kind of tank is on the property when you open an account and we will explain the next step, including a leak check on the system before the first fill.
Support around the clock
During business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:30 (closed noon to 1:00), a member of our office staff answers your questions. After hours, on weekends and on holidays your call is routed to a member of our staff through our answering service.

Questions
Straight answers
How full do you fill my tank?
We fill tanks to about 86% in winter and 80% in summer. The empty space lets the propane expand safely as it warms.
When should I order propane?
Call when your gauge reads about 30%. That gives us time to deliver within about a week on your area's route day, before you run out.
What happens if I run out?
Running out is an interruption in service, so safety codes and our insurance require a leak check before the system is turned back on, and the homeowner must be home for it. There is an additional charge for the check, so it is worth ordering early or joining Keep Full.
